AutoCAD drawings sent to you.
Color
Dependent Plot Styles:
In a Color-Dependent Plot Style table you can specify the
color, lineweight, linetype,
screening, and so on, that objects of a specific color will have when
plotted. This
produces
objective lineweights in the drawings. (i.e. object lines plot
darker than hidden lines)
Here are the plot styles used on our drawings:
Clicking on the filename will open the download
file dialogue box,
asking you to open the file or save it to your computer. Click
'Save'
Then just save the file to C:\Program Files\AutoCAD
2002\Plot Styles
or
whatever version of AutoCAD you are currently using
11x17standard.ctb
- used when plotting 11x17 sheets,
24x36standard.ctb
- used when plotting 24x36 sheets, usually to be
submitted for approval
This style isn't used on
drawings we release, but its a good one to have:
MonoWeight.ctb
- to be used with any size paper. Will make
all lineweights equal
Special
Fonts:
At JAC Drafting, we use an AutoCAD compiled shape file
to produce fractions, and other symbols commonly used on detail
drawings. For a complete list of the symbols used in
the shape file, as well as how to us them, CLICK HERE
